The School House Annexe is a characterful mini home with one bedroom, one bathroom, a large living area and separate kitchen. The interior design is inspired by the Victorian School House next door.
Easy to find with exceptional transport links, it is ideal for holidays, travel, local events, contractors, university visitors and Monarch’s Way walkers.
We welcome long-term stays and short-term, and can make plans for children.

Comfort and quality
Set over two floors, accommodation is light and spacious. A private entrance and private parking directly in front allow visitors to come and go.
The upstairs bedroom and bathroom are beautifully presented and full of character. Expect white linen and fluffy towels. There are drawers and hanging rail.
Spacious living area
The ground floor has full width windows and a delightful view over the front garden and country lane which sees more horse riders than traffic.
The large table - formerly a school lab bench - is ideal for working or dining.
The sofa can be made into a small double bed for a single adult or two children. Please ensure the Sofa Bed Linen add-on is selected at check out, as well as Extra Person add-ons.
Smart tv is installed with free channels and most viewing apps - please use your own account passwords.
There is also fitness equipment available.
A mini-kitchen
Light meals can be prepared in the kitchen fitted with a brand-new wooden worktop, fridge and mini-freezer, microwave, grill (ideal for bagels or mini pizzas), kettle and tea/coffee facilities, glasses, cutlery and tableware.
There is a washing machine and drying rack. Mini steam iron and ironing board. Plus cleaning products and vacuum.
Privacy + parking
Guests have their own private entrance with a key safe. Code provided before arrival.
The owners live in the main house and can be easily contacted if required (there is an inter-connecting door into the shared hallway which remains locked).
Parking is off-street gravel driveway and directly in front of the Annexe.
Electric vehicles can be charged on request at a rate calculated with the owner and upfront payment.
Early check-ins are available on request, and luggage can be dropped off and stored safely.
